Gingham style for summer

GinghamTop_LookCeleb2

A print that has dominated this spring summer has been Gingham. The print has no striking appeal as such but when worn in summer it makes us look like summer queens :)

The most popular combination is black and white but there are other combinations as well like white and red or white and blue that work well together. It is very tricky to wear Gingham without looking like a picnic table 😛 . So I added blue and red colors to the look to make it look vibrant and colourful :) .

With this dark blue washed skinny fit style, the gingham top goes perfectly well and the red bag adds the pop of color to the over all look. The furry slides are my current favorite and you wont believe but they are very comfortable. I had been waiting to add a gingham print to my wardrobe and I came across some pretty pieces on Shein. There were few dresses and skirts too in Gingham but I thought investing in a top is far more valuable than getting a skirt or a dress. Tops can be matched with multiple bottom pieces to create many looks but with a dress or a skirt, the no of choices to create multiple looks is limited. I decided to get this  top which has ruffles around the waist and has short sleeves to compliment the summer feel. I can also pair it with a denim skirt, a black trouser, a white denim or a red skirt or pants. The options are unlimited 😀 .

Hope you like the pictures. Would love to hear from you about your favorite summer prints.
