To be honest, I have been meaning to write a Shirt dress post since weeks. But as I had too many things on my mind, somehow the idea to write about this apparel took a back seat and slowly went to the older pages of my note book. But a recent purchase of a shirt dress from ZARA made me realize how I forgot to write about this super sporty and super sexy ensemble on my blog. Writing about a Shirt dress has been on my list from the time I started blogging as I saw Celebrity after Celebrity from Taylor Swift, Kendell Genner, Gigi Hadid, Reese Witherspoon and many more styling this outfit in so many different ways.
But Before anything a brief history of shirt dresses. A shirt dress is a style of dress that borrows it’s detail from a man’s Shirt. It may include a Collar, a Button front and Cuff sleeves. They first became fashionable during 1950’s when Christian Dior featured them in his Couture designs post World war 2.
